MPI Aloha Chapter gives back to Meeting Professionals International Foundation

MPI Aloha Chapter Members be Proud!

The Aloha Chapter Board has made it our mission to give back to our industry, our members and our community.  We have now reached beyond our waters in a global scale and are donating for the first time in our chapter’s history, a check to the MPI Foundation.  Founded in 1984, the MPI Foundation is the engine that powers the vision and mission of MPI.  With more than 24,000 members in 80 countries worldwide, MPI is the world’s largest and most exciting meetings and events community.

Last year, the MPI Foundation invested nearly $1.7 million dollars at the industry, chapter and individual levels through grants, scholarships and industry related research projects.

In keeping in line with the MPI mandate to elevate the educational experience for our members, we understand that there are geographical challenges that prohibit neighbor island members from attending our educational luncheons.  The Aloha Chapter has recently benefited from Foundation money, with a grant being awarded to our Chapter to offer a webcast of our “Green Meeting in Hawaii” Luncheon on June 4th.  Neighbor Island Members, if you missed it, don’t worry, we have been able to extend this option for two additional luncheons.  We will look forward to your involvement on future webcast opportunities as well as other relevant industry experiences that we are able to provide our members.

Be proud, get involved and make your MPI membership work for you.
