Joel is the Lead Conference Coordinator for the Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC). His responsibilities include conference logistics, marketing, and exhibit sales. He began his career in meetings as the Registration Manager for the Institute of Validation Technology (IVT), located in South Florida. After IVT was acquired by Advanstar Communications, a billion-dollar publishing and conference company, he worked his way up to Conference Operations Manager. Advanstar tried to relocate Joel to Cleveland, OH but instead he accepted his current position with PTC, moved to Honolulu, and hasn’t regretted it for a moment.
In his spare time Joel enjoys playing Rock Band, Frisbee and barbeques at the beach, and preparing for the upcoming Miami Dolphins Super bowl victory.
